We spent last weekend in New Hampshire where Keith's cousin got hitched to a Yankee girl. Papa Doc, Mia, Auntie Ains, and Auntie Em came up early to spend some time with us in CT, and then we all made our way north for the wedding. The festivities began with a welcome Clam Bake on Friday night at the bride's mother's gorgeous house on a lake. Under a great white tent with lights strung up, they served steak, lobster, clams, mussels, chowder, corn on the cob, sangria in mason jars, and s'mores for dessert. Delish! This was my first time to crack into a whole lobster. After receiving some tips, I cracked away and it was well worth the extra effort...mmmm, all dipped in the warm melted butter! Soft and sweet in my mouth. So tender...

I digressed...anyway, Saturday the wedding took place outdoors at Searles Castle in Windham, NH. I'm not completely sure of the history behind the stone edifice, but I do know that it was completed in 1912. (can't hold a candle to the castles in Europe, but it was truly a unique experience to have here in the states.) The ceremony was outdoors and the reception was held under a elegant white canopy tent. We got to roam the rooms of the lower level for drinks and appetizers. Isaac was the Little Prince for sure! He looked so handsome in his little seersucker suit and loafers (
without socks...adorable!), stealing many a maiden's heart. He was doted on all evening. Oh, and he had a blast dancing! He was cracking up the whole time as he was passed from person to person. We all slept in the next day!

The weekend closed with a farewell brunch back at the lake house. We took advantage of the opportunity to take lots of family photos since we were all together.

Stay tuned...next blog is a Triple D sample!!! (you'll see!)
