regarding my leave of absense...

...i apologize. So sorry.

Isaac and i took a 2 week trip to Texas where I intended to blog. Didn't happen. We packed it full of fun, family, friends, pools, house-hunting, and eating! Upon our return, I had to de-bachelorize the house, return to a crazy busy job, and begin to focus on our up-coming move. What? Yep...it's a comin' and it's a comin' FAST! Here's our timeline:

August 12th - Graduation Dinner and the DeSoniers arrive
August 14th - GRADUATION and White Coat Ceremony
August 16th - DeSoniers depart
August 19th - My mom arrives (Go Pat!! She's gonna whip our buns into gear!)
August 21st - Garage Sale
August 25th - My dad arrives...more manual labor.
August 27th - Keith takes the Boards.
August 30th - Movers come to load and drive away with all our belongings.
(Thank heaven Keith agreed to this!!!!!!!!)

August 31st - We must vacate our apartment.
Sept 1 - Grandma and Grandad fly home with Isaac.
Sept 3rd - Steph finishes work and she and Keith hit the road...bound for Texas!

Is your head spinning? MINE is!! In the meantime, we must sell my car, sell as much as we can in the Tag Sale (New Englander for "garage sale") because the movers charge by volume. Keith's response to me anytime I think about purchasing anything these days is, "babe, cubic feet!". Fine. I got it! Although I'm pretty sure a tank top or book is not going to make that much of a difference. We also have going away parties and we need to hit all our favorite spots one more time. Keith is still job searching, so am I. Once back in the promise land, we will be living temporarily with my brother until we find a house. With all these things swimming in my head 16/7 (that's minus my supposed 8 hours of sleep a night) I'm surprised I don't already have about 13 canker soars in my mouth!

However, we are trying to enjoy ourselves in the midst of all the crazy. Today we took a trip to an Lyman Orchards to do some picking...apples, peaches, and blueberries. In 81 degree, blue sky, sunny, not humid weather, what more could you ask for? Once Isaac figured out that he could eat the blueberries right then and there, Keith and I had to jump up to warp speed picking. He just knelt by our little tub and started popping them in. There was a sunflower maze that we opted not to enter because Mommy was already on the verge of really needing a restroom. I can see us entering and wandering and not finding our way out. We did a little duck-watching as well before we made our way home.

So, hopefully I will post again before we jump ship...at least some graduation pictures. If I were truly savvy, then I would link a photo website to this blog, download all my other cute pics that don't make the blog so those of you that have some more time on your hands you could take a peek. I'm exhausted just thinking about it! But, for now, I'm going to make my first ever apple pie and snack on some of those blueberries. Salud!
