little man

Um...is this not the cutest picture ever! Keith hates the cardigan, but I love it. Isaac doesn't seem to mind one bit either and I think he looks adorable...so, I win!! We took lunch to Keith at school today and Isaac had on his cardigan. Everyone commented and thought it was so great...Keith would growl, but deep down I know he loves it!! How could he not? His son was winning hearts...and potential future babysitters. Isaac is really starting to smile so much more, but every time I try to film so you can see a longer stretch of expressions, he stops and just stares at the camara. I will not give up and I promise a cute clip soon.

As far as milestones, well, there's really not a whole lot at this point. He did finally have his first bottle. He was a little hesitant at first, but then figured it out and it was gone in no time. All that precious milk that took me 20 minutes to pump was gone in mere minutes. Slow down buddy! Show some appreciation! We're also starting tummy time. He doesn't seem to complain too much and is getting a lot better about pushing up and lifting his little head. Keith is hilarious because this semester he is taking Principles of Pediatrics and therefore comes home from class with all kinds of new developmental information and wisdom to impart. He is also learning things to try on Isaac to test his reflexes and such. I'm okay with that, except I get a little nervous when he starts mentioning things like the "parachute".

I finally had my last appointment yesterday. When my doctor told me I didn't have to come back for another year, I almost got sad (not really). Today, some of his last words were, "Just remember, you pretty much got the crap beat out of you, so please try to take it easy." Thanks Doc. We love you because you are so straight forward and down to earth.

It's snowing and very cold here today...so I couldn't resist showing you a pick of what Isaac looks like when we got out in weather like that. (we will not be going out today!)

I leave you with a clip of Isaac. We love you!

Cuter and cuter as he is growing... I love his expressions and his sounds. Can't wait to finally meet him!

I personally LOVE the cardigan. It's the only time in your life that you can get away with it (well, maybe when you're 80 too). You'll discover that he'll look equally cute in anything sear-sucker (much to Keith's angst).

LoLo...you made me laugh out loud about the cardigan and sear-sucker comment! I just pictured Grandpa and Isaac sitting together wearing matching sear-sucker. Also, in that first picture,Isaac kind of favors Amelia.

He is so handsome!
