before...and after

Keith not only received his Masters and his sparkling new white coat, but on August 27th he passed the national boards exam for PAs to earn him the title PA-C...certified!

On September 3rd, we said our goodbyes to New Haven, CT. Along the way, we stayed with friends (Huge thanks and a big round of applause for Jason and Christina Davis, Luke, and Maddie in VA...Hope and Stephen Link in TN, and Bill and Malia Morrel in AR!!) We also took advantage of the travel time to hit some Triple D joints for some fun food tasting...my favorite being the visit to Dangerously Delicious Pies in Baltimore for the Baltimore Bomb Pie. You don't even want to know how amazingly melty and d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s that pie was! Finally, after 4 days on the road, we pulled onto Texas soil today to begin a new chapter. I am realizing now that I need to change the name of our blog!! I'll get to that soon. I'm exhausted. I just wanted to check in, give you a little update, and tell you so far, so good. Just a few minor details left...eh hem...Keith needs a job, I need a job, we need a house, and Isaac needs a place to hang out during the day. Nothing too overwhelming. All's good.

We're home. We had burgers with family tonight. And I got to read Isaac his bedtime stories. My cup runneth over.

Woohoo!!
Love the White Coat!!! Now your legs won't get as cold, Keith!!
I know both sides of the family are so very happy to have ya'll much closer! Hope the transition is easy and short for all those involved.
The family pic in the red chair is great! Ya'll should make a photo collection of all the photos taken in the chair along ya'lls CT journey. (Maybe in the future, you can revisit the BIG RED CHAIR for major milestones, too!)
